Hon. Adebanji Atewogboye a.k.a Skibanj, Senior Special Assistant to  Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Grassroots Sports Development will on Saturday June 29, 2024 lead the celebrity race of the 3rd Cycling Lagos at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.

The sports icon will be joining other dignitaries at the stadium to lead the Celebrity Race category of the Cycling Lagos, one of the biggest cycling events in Africa.

The Celebrity Race is a 5.6km race starting from the Teslim Balogun Stadium through the Alh. Masha Road (via the bridge) and back to the stadium.

Speaking on the event in Lagos, the convener of Cycling Lagos and the Managing Director of BrandEscort Communications, Bamidele Adeleye said he was excited about the willingness of some Nigerian celebrities to be part of the great event.

He urged young Nigerians willing to be part of the competition to visit the event  website, www.cyclinglagos.com to register for other categories of the challenge such as Amateur Race, Professional Race and Children Race with lots of prizes to be won.

The 3rd Cycling Lagos, with the theme "Sustainable Healthcare," is expected to drive conversations on the need to embrace a healthcare policy that is environmentally friendly and to develop a healthcare system that ensures the health needs of the current population are met without compromising environmental, economic, or social resources for future generations.
