The ARABI Unity Cup 2024 has reached its crescendo, setting the stage for a clash that promises to be as electrifying as the tournament has been so far.

After weeks of intense battles across two divisions in the Irepodun/Ifelodun local government area, the final lineup has been determined, with Dynamo FC from Irepodun and OJB FC from Ifelodun gearing up for a title showdown.

The group stages were a testament to the competitive spirit of football in the region. In the Ifelodun axis, OJB FC clinched the top spot with a strategic display, securing 4 points over three games. Their qualification was razor-thin, decided purely by goal difference, edging out EKSU Galaticos who also finished with 4 points but fell short on scoring, ensuring OJB FC booked a place in the much-anticipated final.

On the other side, in the Irepodun axis, Dynamo FC was nothing short of dominant. With a perfect record, they won all three of their matches, amassing a total of 9 points. The tournament also saw the establishment of a third-place match, featuring Igede FC and Afao FC, who both managed to secure second positions in their respective divisions.

Kehinde Anjorin, Chairman of the organizing committee, expressed his gratitude towards all participating teams for their sportsmanship and dedication. "We've witnessed some extraordinary football, and I want to thank every team that has contributed to the spirit of this competition," Anjorin stated. He also extended a warm invitation to the fans, urging them to turn out in large numbers to support the teams in the final, which is scheduled for Sunday, December 22nd.

Furthermore, Anjorin appreciated the role of Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Football Council (LFC) in organizing the competition, thanking the council led by Chairman, Mr. Temitope Olaifa, for their tireless efforts in promoting grassroots football in the region.
