Aston Villa are reportedly targeting Porto forward Samu Omorodion as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to AS, Villa view the Spain U21 international as a potential replacement for Jhon Duran, who left the club for Al Nassr in January. The Premier League side is preparing a bid for Omorodion, who joined Porto last year following his transfer from Atletico Madrid.

Omorodion's current release clause at Porto stands at €100 million, with Atletico Madrid still retaining 50% of his transfer rights. Porto initially acquired the striker for €15 million but has the opportunity to increase its stake.

The Portuguese club can purchase an additional 15% of his economic rights for €5 million by July 2025 and another 15% for the same amount by July 2026.
