The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has
entered into a strategic partnership with Carloha, the exclusive dealer and
franchise holder of Chery vehicles in Nigeria. Under
the newly signed agreement, Carloha will serve as the official automobile
partner of the NFF and Nigeria’s national football teams.
The
signing ceremony took place on Wednesday at Carloha’s headquarters in Lagos,
bringing together top executives from both organizations.
NFF
President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, expressed excitement about the
collaboration, emphasizing its significance in advancing football in the
country. “This partnership is a major step forward as we continue engaging
corporate organizations to support Nigerian football. We are pleased to welcome
Carloha on board in our mission to elevate the sport,” he stated.
Carloha’s
Managing Director, Mr. Sola Adigun, described the deal as a rewarding outcome
following months of negotiations. “We are proud to align with Nigerian
football. The Super Eagles and Super Falcons are globally recognized brands,
and we at Carloha are eager to play a role in enhancing their status, along
with supporting the development of youth teams,” he said.
Chief
Mike Itemuagbor, Chairman of Pamodzi Sports Marketing, which facilitated the
partnership, highlighted the mutual benefits of the agreement. “This
collaboration is a game-changer for both Carloha and Nigerian football. While
Carloha has valuable contributions to make to the sport, the NFF partnership
will also expand the brand’s visibility across the country,” he noted.
With
this agreement, Carloha and the NFF look forward to a fruitful relationship
that will drive the growth of football in Nigeria.
